Take Action against the FCC - Help Save The Net

The FCC is at it again, ignoring the public interest to give handouts to massive corporations. This time, Chairman Kevin Martin has thrown the FCC's ethics out the window to rush through the mega-merger of AT&T and BellSouth.

Martin is forcing one commissioner, Robert McDowell, to overlook a conflict of interest and rubber stamp the AT&T merger without safeguards for Net Neutrality -- the longstanding principle that prevents Internet providers from discriminating between Web sites.

This move could undermine basic freedoms for all Internet users. Together, we can stop Martin:

Stop Martin. Act Now to Save Net Neutrality

Chairman Martin is racing to deliver special favors to AT&T before the incoming Congress can provide oversight. Commissioner McDowell rightly "recused" his vote on the merger because he had prior business ties affected by the deal. That left the FCC in a 2-2 tie.

Rather than negotiate with commissioners in good faith, AT&T and Chairman Martin have resorted to strong-arm tactics to force McDowell to violate his ethical standards and vote for the merger.

Stop Martin. Act Now to Save Net Neutrality

Congress has begun to respond to Martin's outrageous behavior. Incoming House leaders John Dingell (D-Mich.) and Edward Markey (D-Mass.) sent a letter to Martin Tuesday demanding that the merger be handled "without compromising the ethical standards of the independent agency or the individual Commissioners involved."

This objection was echoed in the Senate by incoming Commerce Committee Chairman Daniel Inouye. He wrote to Martin: "I hope you will reconsider your decision to waive the ethical rules presently precluding Commissioner McDowell's participation and return to serious negotiations with your colleagues at the Commission. These rules and the rules of professional responsibility in general exist for a reason and should not be tossed away lightly."

We agree. To stop this unethical abuse of power, we need to make sure other members of Congress know about Martin's action and put a stop to it. Sign this letter to Congress today. Your comments will also be sent to the FCC:

Stop Martin. Act Now to Save Net Neutrality

Don't let Chairman Martin skirt accountability and sell out Internet freedom. Take action now.

More on Click Sensor

Here is a link to a video that will walk you through the process of adding the Clickbank products to your pages:

http://www.ezniche.com/videos/CSB/CSB1.html

FREE TOOL to add CLICKBANK to your blogs and pages!!

If you have an active Click Bank account, here's a way you can automatically add CLICKBANK ads to your blogs and web sites:
Go to this page: http://www.ezniche.com/ClicSensor/clicksensor/index.php?x=dottye78
and sign up for a free account.
After doing that, you should receive a confirmation email. Click the link in the email to activate
your free account.

Then you should see a page with the words "Control Panel" at the top.
Click on "Group List"

The next page has a box with the words "Product Groups" above it.
You will see two choices "Ad Campaigns" and "Clickbank".
Click on the word "Clickbank", and navigate to the next page.

Now you will see a box with the title "General Settings".
You will see "Group Name" and then "Clickbank" and then underneath,
it will say "Affiliate ID" with a blank field. Fill in your Click Bank ID in the blank field, and hit "Save".

Now, here's where it gets tricky:
Go back to the Control Panel, and choose "XML ads".
Click on "Custom Keywords", and put in keywords related to your blog or web site.
Put the keywords in the blank field to the right of "Custom Keywords". This helps you to target readers
with products that they could use. You can put many keywords for a blog, but for a web site you'd probably use only two or three main keywords.
If you don't like the ads the tool generates, you can go back and try the "URL the Feed Will Be Placed On" option, put in the site URL
and see if those ads generated better match your web site.
Underneath, in the "Your Code" section, a URL will be generated that you will place in the template of your blog where it calls for a feed.
If you are using the Blogger Beta version, you will go to the Template, Add a Page Element, choose "Feed", and put in the URL generated by click sensor. Just copy and paste it from the
XML ads page on Click Sensor.

Save your changes on your blog or site, and then view the blog or site with your brand-new ads!!
If the clickbank ads take too long to load, move them down further on the page and put the adsense up higher
so people are not waiting for ads to show up-
people hate to wait, and they will flip right by your site or blog.

Any questions on how to use this, please email me at dottye789@earthlink.net.

How to get your blog noticed by using keywords.

The way that search engines work is by searching blogs for keywords. That is why there are so many sites out there that want you to spend money with them so that they can tell you the best keywords to use. Usually this sort of thing is referred to as search engine optimization.

When you create your blog, you need to be working at finding a niche that isn’t totally saturated with other people writing about the same things. With this in mind, you should be able to come up with some pretty good keywords that people want information on, but there shouldn’t be too much competitive information out there.

Let me give you an example of some keywords and a search engine optimization system.

Lets pretend I just created a blog on clipping cat nails. So the first thing I would want to do is create a bunch of keywords based around clipping cat nails, like cat nail care, and how to clip cat nails.

After I had done that I would then start writing articles based off these keywords, so that way when people type in these keywords in search of clipping cat nails, my blog will show up in the search engines. The more keywords that I have in my articles the better, up to a certain point. If you include too many keywords in your articles the search engines will reject the content as spam, so you need to be careful about this.

This is a great way to create a search engine optimized blog. Just remember that you need to create a blog that isn’t competing against thousands of other websites.
